My Property is A Wetland - Is that Good or Bad?
I just found out from my Township Board of Health that the EPA wetland delineation maps show part of my property is considered to be a wetland. How will this effect my plans for devlopment of the property? Can I contest this determination? The land always appears dry and does not have standing water. Are there any benefits for me if my land is considered to be a wetland?

Can a Baseball Stadium be Built on Former Chemical Plant Property?
In my town, they are building a minor league baseball stadium, on the site of the former home of a large well known chemical company. The area has been rezoned, and according to the local government all is well. I used to work there 30 years ago. I know what went on with regard to the dumping of very hazardous materials in the area. The local government says the clean up is complete, and the economic benefit to the area will be substantial. That is why I feel things, such as the "real" safety of the site are being overlooked. Where can I go for help, above the local government level? What can I really force to be done before it is too late?
